POWERBAR® Team Excel was introduced early this year to polish young and emerging athletes with potential to be the future Team Elite. This program is aimed at young sportsmen and sportswomen who show great potential in their respective sports. While they may not have achieved the level of success of Team Elite members, they are definitely working towards that goal.
As of this year 2010,POWERBAR® has recruited 10 potential athletes under this program. They are Abdul Rahman bin Abu Hasan (Triathlon), Tan Suet Fong (Rowing and Adventure Race), Jessica Tang Mei Lee (Athletic), Chan Jun Shen (Duathlon/Triathlon), Ong Wei Xiang(Duathlon/Triathlon), Ho Kok Yaw(Triathlon),, Athia Hakimah Haron(Fencing) , Yeo Jin Rong(Triathlon), Choy Mun Yoong(Triathlon), and Irene Chong See Win (Swimming/triathlon). | |
